Nicole’s House is a registered 501(c) non-profit, solely dependent upon donations from our Northwest Arkansas community.
We have many ways that you make a difference for others. Volunteer your time, pick-up an extra item or two while you are at the store, or make a one time, or monthly gift.

If you are interested in volunteering
with Nicole’s House, you are in for a rewarding experience that truly makes a difference. Match your skills and passion with a volunteer opportunity listed below, or please contact us for more information. You must fill out our application.
Mentor or Sponsor
Mentor – Assigned to one woman in the house. Contacts their mentee weekly to offer encouragement, fellowship, and guidance.
Sponsor – Must have been sober at least two years, with an understanding of step study programs. Actively attends meetings.
Board Member
Commit to quarterly meetings; assisting with establishing and updating protocol, rules, and regulations, fundraising, event planning, grant writing, offer your expertise in certain areas. Approx 3-5 hours per month.
Landscaping
Plant, water, mulch, weed. Great group activity or team builder.
Sustainablility
Assist with creating greeting cards, totes, etc
Transportation
Provide transportation for a woman to go to or return from work, doctor, the probation office, court, DHS, CR, AA, etc.
Handyman
Minor Repairs – Available to work on sticking doors, fix appliances, climb a ladder, etc
In-Kind Coordinator
Coordinate food donations, canned, boxed, packaged, cleaning & paper products.
Sales
Help with sales tables at Community Craft Fair, Bikes Blues & Barbeque, Open House, etc. Find vendors who will sell our items.
Speaker – Coordinate presentations where you or the Exec Dir would present information to civic organizations, churches, etc.
In House Volunteer
2-4 hours per week (or month) in the house. Any or all of the following: answer phone, greet visitors, oversee cooking, cleaning, conduct devotional, pray with women, art/craft project, small clerical tasks and give tours. Provide a warm presence in the house and support for the women who are ‘at home’; which allows the Executive Director and House Leader to be out in the community, promoting Nicole’s House.
Marketing Development
Lead donor campaigns, NWA Gives, create awareness in the community about Nicole’s House. Research and apply for grants
Event Planning
Assist with logistics, organize fundraisers: ie Joy Comes in the Morning, gala, graduation open house, sponsored events.
